Already a beetroot client, National Grid knew where to come when it wanted an e-newsletter for its Global Finance division. While many National Grid employees are out in the field, most Global Finance employees are office-based, so it made sense to start communicating with them regularly via their inboxes.
We designed an e-newsletter with stories containing just headlines and teasers - enough to entice people to click through and read the full stories on National Grid's intranet. And a way of drawing employees to other useful information on the website.
Besides designing the e-newsletter and the intranet pages containing the full stories, beetroot used software that allows the client to monitor site traffic and see which content is proving most popular
For Lloyds TSB's Finance department, beetroot took a different approach in line with the client's desire for a standalone e-newsletter, creating an electronic PDF that's easy to read in one go.
