Creative artworker/production Beetroot has a position for a creative artworker/production. Working as part of the studio team you will be responsible for the production and preparation of specific titles growing more general workflow responsibilities over time. You will work closely to support designers, in-house editors and production co-ordinator and be responsible to the studio head. With a high degree of production and systems knowledge, you will be expected to liaise with suppliers, be able to work under pressure and contribute to the overall productivity and workflow of the studio. This job is essential in helping to knit together all aspects of our agency output. Candidate profile
- Design degree or similar qualification plus a minimum of five years commercial experience, ideally working within the corporate communications sector, with good all round knowledge.
- Full creative appreciation and ability to interpret established design templates, with an eye for detail and ability to develop, recommend and implement better production practices.
- Lively and collaborative in your approach to design, colleagues and clients with a can do attitude.
- Mac literate with expert knowledge of InDesign, Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint.
- PC experience and of on-line applications an obvious benefit but not essential.
- A full understanding of print production processes, IT and systems knowledge also important.
Committed individual who is dedicated to getting the job done and has a flexible approach to work. Excellent communication skills, you should be confident, organised, articulate, presentable and comfortable dealing direct with clients and suppliers. Must be able to work under own initiative.
